- Pittwater Road has nowhere to stand a truck through the day. We use the dock where there is one and side streets where there is not.

- Free. For a straightforward apartment the lift dimensions and floor are often enough over the phone.
The dock height decides the truck before the volume does.
A loading dock with a four-metre clearance rules out the vehicle that would otherwise do the job in one trip. Turning up and discovering it at the boom gate means unloading in the street, which is slower and sometimes not permitted at all.
We check the clearance when we book the dock. It is a two-minute question that occasionally changes the entire plan for the day.

01 Will you arrange the lift booking?
Yes. Give us the building and the managing agent and we handle the booking and the certificate of currency, so you are not chasing the strata in your last week.
02 What happens if the dock window is missed?
It should not be, because we arrive well inside it. Where a building is genuinely inflexible we will say so when we quote and book the day around their window rather than ours.
03 Can you move on a weekend?
Some buildings allow it and many do not. We confirm your building's rules before the date is locked in.
04 Do you cover Collaroy, Narrabeen and Curl Curl?
